The Chronicle of Higher Education reports that U.Mass. (Amherst) and U.Ohio have adopted more individualized selection processes to achieve diversity in student body selection. Mechanistic policies providing formula advantages for minority applicants have been under question since the June Supreme Court decisions involving University of Michigan.
