That includes an article titled "Terrorism Risk Insurance Act of 2002: A Reinsurer's Perspective" that goes into some depth as to the legal, policy and business issues of concern to a reinsurer in light of the TRIA statute.
The United States Treasury is charged with implementing the provisions of TRIA that provide a $100 billion reinsurance program standing behind the law's mandated offer of terrorism coverage and temporary federal pre-emption of state approvals of terror exclusions in insurance policies.
